Overview
In a community that is known for its visual, performing, and literary arts and the City of Ojai Arts Commission exists to nurture both arts and artists.
The Arts Commission encourages the flow of art into our valley and stimulates art and cultural activities. A valuable liaison to encourage public and private partnerships, the Arts Commission also makes recommendations for art acquisitions and proposals for public artworks to the City Council and acts as an adviser on all matters pertaining to the arts for the community.
Additionally, the Arts Commission maintains a website that is dedicated to local artists, special events, City Hall exhibits and other projects related to art in the community.
